The tickets for Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders have gone live. Mumbai Indians decided to make the tickets live for its home matches, but things have not turned out as expected. The ticket price range has been high, which made the fans take up on Twitter.

Mumbai Indians are all set to kick off the Indian Premier League 2026 edition at their home venue. The team will be going against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their initial fixtures at Wankhede Stadium. Fans have been waiting for the IPL for months, and even waited for the tickets to go live.

Eventually, the management had made the tickets available for the fans to book online at BookMyShow. For both the games against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, fans can now book tickets online and wait for the match to commence. These tickets were expected to sell off within a few minutes but that didn't happen.

Instead, something else happened which was completely unexpected. Fans are shocked with the high ticket prices at the Wankhede Stadium. This also makes them wonder what could be the ticket prices of the other top stadiums as well.

Game is Gone

Fans have gone frustrated looking at the ticket prices. One of them even said that for attending the match from the North stand, they would have to pay more than 11K for two tickets.

Too Much Too Little

Just to attend the match from a regular stand, fans will have to pay 5500 rupees. Showing their dissatisfaction from the same, a fan even said that it's too much for too little.

Real Inflation

Inflation is one topic which has been over the headlines for a long time. The prices of daily necessities were increasing, but this time, the IPL fans can even feel the inflation with the match tickets.
